Your progress
Where is my progress saved?
On your phone. There's no account and no cloud save, so uninstalling the app or clearing its storage resets your progress. If your phone's own backup is turned on, Android may put the app's data back when you reinstall. A purchase is never lost: Restore purchases brings it back.
Can I move my progress to a new phone?
There's no account or cloud save to sync, but if you set up the new phone from a backup of the old one, Android may bring Tidy Mind's progress with it. Tidy Mind Complete always comes back with Restore purchases, signed in to the same Google account.
Can I start over?
Yes. Settings → Reset progress clears your levels, stars, dailies and streak. Your settings and purchases stay. It can't be undone, so the app asks first.
My phone's clock was wrong. Will I lose my streak?
No. A wrong clock never breaks your streak, and it never locks a purchase either.
Purchases
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings, then Purchases, and tap Restore, connected to the internet and signed in to the Google account you bought with. Tidy Mind Complete comes back on this phone or a new one.
I bought Tidy Mind Complete but it's still locked.
Make sure you're online, then open Settings → Purchases and tap Restore. If the app says “Waiting for approval”, Google Play is still waiting for the payment, for example a purchase a family manager has to approve or a slower payment method. It unlocks by itself once the purchase goes through. Still stuck? Email us.
The app says it can't reach the store.
“Connect to the internet to buy” means Google Play didn't answer: you may be offline, or not signed in to Google Play on this phone. “Purchases are turned off on this device” usually means parental controls or a blocked Play Store. Everything you already own keeps working offline.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made through Google Play, so refunds go through Google Play's refund process. If Google can't help, email us. After a refund, worlds 4–15, the older dailies and the Complete papers lock again the next time the app checks with Google Play. Your stars and history stay.
Does Tidy Mind Complete include future games?
No. Tidy Mind Complete opens worlds 4–15 of Lone Crown, Inkpath, Loose Ends and Decant, every past daily, three paper looks, More stats and a small supporter mark. Future games are sold separately, and each one comes with free worlds and a free daily of its own.
Is it a subscription?
No. It's one payment, yours to keep. There's nothing to renew or cancel.
Hints and getting unstuck
Why do I have to wait for a hint?
A new hint is ready once a minute, shared by every game, and the Hint button counts down. Finishing a hint you started is always free, and a press with nothing to hint costs nothing. On a board that can no longer be finished, Hint never makes you wait: it offers the way out. In Lone Crown and Inkpath, holding Undo to rewind uses a hint too.
The wait is the same for everyone, and it's never sold.
I'm stuck on a level.
After a few restarts, or a long while without progress, the game offers a hint, Skip, or an easier version where the game has one. Skip moves you on to the next level in the worlds you can open (after the last of them, it takes you back to the map), and you can come back to a skipped level whenever you like.
How do stars work?
One star for solving, two if you didn't use an applied hint, the easier version or Decant's +1 flask, and three with no hints at all and the game's own clean rule: in Lone Crown no crown ever broke a rule, in Loose Ends no bumps (a path peek counts as one), and in Decant pours within the par shown on the board (Inkpath has no extra rule). Undo and restart never cost a star, and neither does time. In Lone Crown and Inkpath a rewind counts as a hint.
Dailies and your streak
When do the dailies start?
A game's daily opens once you've finished (or skipped) its level 10. There's a new one every day, gentle on Mondays and tougher by Saturday.
Can I play dailies I missed?
Yes. The last 30 days of each game are free in its archive, and Tidy Mind Complete opens every past daily. Archive dailies don't count towards your streak.
How does the streak work?
A day counts when you finish any daily on its day, or three levels. Every seven days of a streak earn a freeze (you can hold two), and a freeze covers a missed day by itself. Failing, skipping or quitting a puzzle never breaks your streak.
Privacy and your data
Does Tidy Mind need an account?
No. There's nothing to sign up for. Purchases are tied to your Google account by Google Play, which is how Restore finds them.
What does Tidy Mind collect?
Nothing that reaches us. The app has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and your progress stays on your phone. Purchases go through Google Play. The privacy policy has the details.
How do I delete my data?
Your game data is only on your phone: uninstall the app or clear its storage to delete it. We keep no game data of yours on a server. To have your emails to us deleted, just ask.
